Energy Business Products General Product information Drums Dimensions and weights News Archive Drums   Cables and wires are delivered to the customers in wooden or steel drums or in coils. Standard lengths and standard drums are informed in the product pages in case the cables are delivered in drums. Some products do not have standard lengths. In these cases the delivery length will be agreed separately with the customer. Information concerning the dimensions and weight of standard wooden drums used by Prysmian can be found here. Drum handling If the drum is damaged, the cable or the conductor can also be damaged. The damage might not be discovered until after installation, when repairs can be extremely expensive. For this reason it is especially important that the drums will be handled in a right way and with special care. Keep the drum always upright and roll the drum in direction of the arrow. When lifting the drum be careful not to damage it Secure the drums firmly and avoid stacking them Fasten the drums firmly for the transportation Do not drop drums Nail the planks carefully in the middle of drum flange   Correct drum handling  (2,73 MB) Drum returning Drum returns will be agreed separately with the customers outside Finland.
