AMKA cables were developed in the 1960’s as an option to a low voltage bare conductor system.  AMKA system has proven to be safe, reliable and economical in various terrain and climate conditions.  
 
For medium voltages SAMKA was the first overhead cable which was developed to be installed in poles. Later it was replaced by SAXKA ^®-W. Nowadays the cable type is AHXAMK-WM or Multi-Wiski ^TM  which is a multi-purpose cable to be installed in poles, underground and under water.
